Kidwiz support
Make things with your family: stories, movies, animations and more.
Kidwiz is one app for making things with your family. Keep a cast of the people, pets and toys in your life, then turn them into an illustrated story, an animated drawing, a picture of someone grown up, a short family movie, or a debate between two puppets. Everything you make is kept in your library, private until you share it.
Common questions
- What does it cost?
- You top up a balance in the app ($4.99, $9.99 or $19.99), and the price of each creation is shown before it starts. The first creation of each kind is free. If something fails, you are not charged for it.
- My creation is taking a long time
- A story takes a couple of minutes, an animation under a minute, a picture set a few minutes, and a movie 10 to 25 minutes because every scene is drawn, animated and checked against your cast. You can leave the app; it tells you when it is ready.
- Someone doesn't look like themselves
- Add a few clear, well-lit, front-facing photos of each person, one face per photo, as a photo group. Sunglasses, hats and group shots make the likeness worse.
- A picture or scene couldn't be made
- The AI services refuse some descriptions. Kidwiz tries calmer wording first; if that is refused too, it asks you to change the words. You are not charged for something that is not made.
- I want a refund
- Purchases are made through Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; when Apple approves it, the amount is taken back from your balance. Write to us if something went wrong with a creation.
- I want my photographs and account deleted
- Delete your account from the account page in the app: your cast, photographs, creations, balance and every link you shared are removed, and if you signed in with Apple we ask Apple to revoke Kidwiz's access. Or write to us from the address you signed in with.
Contact
Put “Kidwiz” in the subject line. Tell us what you expected and what happened instead, and which device and iOS version you are on if you know.
Privacy
Kidwiz needs an account and a network connection. The photographs and descriptions you add are stored in your account and sent to the AI services that write, draw and animate what you ask for. Because those photographs are of people's faces, often children's, read the sections on photographs and AI services below before using the app.
The AI services Kidwiz uses
Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google) and Nano Banana (Google) through OpenRouter; FLUX.2 Pro (Black Forest Labs), Kling (Kuaishou) and MiniMax through fal.ai; Apple for payments; Google Firebase for your account. The privacy policy says what each one receives.
